A game of Café de Fleur is played in 3 rounds. At the start of each round, collect a card which gives you 10 color cards and jokers. These cards will then be used to pay for the different ornaments that you wish to place on your board. These cards are the backbone of the game: in fact, the pieces that you are going to place require to be paid for with cards corresponding to the color of the outer frame of your rosette (the first piece that you place). Whatever piece you place, the cost will always be one and only one card.

Depending on the piece you place, you will have to discard a certain number of cards (between 1 and 4) and will always recover a corresponding number of cards which will balance the final cost to one card. For example, when you pay 1 card, you get nothing back. When you pay 2 cards you get 1 card back and so on... However, the cards you get from the draws must neither be jokers nor cards of the same color as those you used to pay for your ornament!

As soon as you no longer have any cards in your hand or no longer wish to place them (you can keep up to three cards for the next round), you can pass your turn. The round ends when all players have taken their turn.

Will you succeed in renovating the floor of the Café de Fleur brilliantly and winning the game?
