This extension to the Carcassonne board game offers players many possibilities to increase their influence.
- Monasteries: Fill the empty spaces in the game area without taking into account the adjacent tiles. In addition, new tiles bring even more diversity to your games.
- The Mayor: is placed in the cities, each coat of arms making him stronger and stronger.
- The Chariot: is a meeple that moves from one area to another.
- The Great: Impacts the evaluation of the meeple and allows to recover the peasants of the game zone.
- With this Mayor and Monasteries extension (formerly Mayor and Cloisters), players have new opportunities to consolidate their influence around Carcassonne.
Travelling merchants transport their products to the surrounding towns and abbeys. The surrounding towns grow in size and elect their own mayors. Simple peasants made their fortunes and built farms. The church tried to strengthen its influence by building monasteries.
