Freya, the goddess of fertility, has gone to join Thor in Asgard for a wedding, accompanied by the valiant warriors of Grimheim. You are not one of them. A mischievous god, Loki sees this as an opportunity to destroy Freya's sacred well in Grimheim. Already, monsters appear on all sides, moving towards the village of which you are now the only defender(s). The fate of Grimheim rests in your hands.

Fate is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players taking on the role of both talented and inexperienced heroes. Together, they must protect Freya's Well from the threat of trolls, undead and other monsters of the Fire Horde who advance from the confines of the game board. Eliminate the monsters to gain experience and improve your hero, complete quests to discover weapons and equipment, band together to face the powerful monsters of Nordic mythology.
