Codenames, a party and spy game
In Codenames, players take on the role of elite spies divided into two teams. At the head of each team, a master spy directs operations. The two spymasters are the only ones with knowledge of all the identities of the other agents on mission. These are only known by their code name.

The objective of the game is for each team to find its agents based on their code names.

Code names, a deduction game
Codenames is an idea association game for 2 to 8 players (see more!). To find out what code name your informants are hiding under, listen carefully to the clues given by the two spymasters and be careful not to contact an enemy informant, or worse… the dreaded assassin! If a team accidentally stumbles upon this evil character, the game ends and the other team wins the mission.

The two spymasters know the identity of the 25 informants hidden in the crowd, but their agents only see the code names, symbolized in the game by words.

The teams compete in ingenuity to be the first to make contact with all their informants. For this, the spymasters give one and only one clue word that can designate several code names. Their agents therefore try to guess the code names of their color (blue or red) and avoid those of the other team. And above all, everyone wants to avoid the assassin!

The first team to identify all of their Informants wins the game.

Code names, a twist game
In Codenames, players will need to stay on their toes every minute of the game. Missteps are frequent and each mistake can be fatal to the teams. The interest of the game is based on the multiple meanings of the words. Spymasters must choose their clues wisely and be careful not to take too many risks with the assassin;

And to make the mission even more difficult, participants will have to play under the pressure of an hourglass. To win, the agents will have to think fast and well. Holy challenge!
