Galerapagos, a paradise game setting
After your boat sinks, you are part of a group of survivors stranded on a desert island. If the sea, the beach and the sun usually make vacationers dream, it is different for you. Life is hard. Portions of water are limited and fish are scarce. With such a diet, it is not certain that everyone will survive. You have no choice: you have to help each other to leave the island.
Galerapagos, a semi-cooperative game between castaways
To leave this island, you have only one solution: gather your forces to build a large raft together. But do not delay because the clouds on the horizon indicate the arrival of a dangerous hurricane. Team up to survive but be prepared to sacrifice your comrades in times of shortage.
Diplomacy and trickery will be important elements of your survival. Be smart, helpful and don't alienate anyone. Your place on the raft depends on it!
Galerapagos, a game in several rounds
At each turn, shipwrecked players will have to choose one action among four:
To fish some fish
Collect water
Collect wood and build the raft
Search the wreckage of the boat
Once the actions have been performed by the players, each survivor receives a ration of water and food. If there is not enough for everyone, the survivors will have to vote to eliminate one of their own.
Galerapagos, several possible endgames
In this game, there are three ways to end a game:
The players manage to leave the island on their raft. In this case, all survivors have won.
The hurricane is coming. The players must embark on their makeshift boat without further delay. If the victory conditions are met, the survivors have won the game.
All players died of hunger and/or thirst. The game is lost for all the castaways.
