On the morning of July 21, 2002, on the banks of the river bordering the Paradis campsite, the lifeless body of Roger Brûlé, a retired notary and promoter of the restarting of a mini hydroelectric power station, was found. The victim appears to have been struck in the head with a blunt object. Wanting to speed up the proceedings and help the police in their investigation, Madeleine Gélinas (the Landlord) summons all the campers present at the party held the previous evening so that they can find out together who committed this terrible crime.
