Throw the die in the air and reproduce the action illustrated! Crawl like a train entering a tunnel! Spin like a top! Balance on one foot like a flamingo!

Le dé des actions is designed to help children aged 1 to 6 years old develop their motor skills. This expansion of the game Le dé des premiers mots offers 60 new image cards divided into 4 levels which can be inserted into the die pockets. The illustrations represent actions to perform to stimulate the development of motor skills (e.g.: crawling, squatting, balancing, jumping). Play thus contributes to the acquisition of fundamental skills for the development of the child's gross motor skills.

Four difficulty levels are offered:

  • Level 1 (pink cards) is aimed at children aged 1 to 2 and offers actions such as crawling, crawling, rolling the die and walking like an animal (with the help of an adult if necessary ).
  • Level 2 (blue cards) is aimed at children aged 2 to 3 and offers actions such as walking backwards, crouching, turning and galloping.
  • Level 3 (green cards) is aimed at children aged 3 to 4 and offers actions such as balancing on one foot, throwing or catching the die, walking on tiptoes and jumping with both feet.
  • Level 4 (purple cards) is aimed at children aged 4 to 6 and offers actions such as jumping like playing hopscotch, moving forward by jumping on one foot, moving by doing a wheelbarrow and walking by placing a card balanced on his head.

The actions proposed at different levels promote the development of the child's gross motor skills. Gross motor skills refer to movements (walking, running, etc.), force transmission (throwing a ball, kicking a ball with one's foot, etc.) and changes in position (moving from standing to sitting). , jumping on a trampoline, etc.). It is thus associated with major movements of the body and often with sports (running, soccer, dance, swimming, karate, etc.).

The actions to be carried out promote the development of muscles to have good posture. They also help to improve the child's coordination and balance. All these skills make it easier to carry out sports activities (cycling, skipping rope, etc.), fine motor skills (coloring, cutting, etc.) and daily life (washing, dressing, etc.).

Note: The base game Le dé des premiers mots (PLA1) is required to use this expansion.
