Take turns helping to fill the trunk or putting obstacles in the way of the crew. The pirates win the game if they manage to fill the chest sufficiently or if they manage to push all the mutineers into the water. The mutineers win the game if they manage to prevent the crew from being collected or if they manage to push enough pirates overboard.
Fiery discussions, pointed questions and sharing of information, the heart of the game lies in the interaction between players and communication. Will you succeed in identifying your (real) allies and your (false) friends? Or will you have the guts to commit treason? Throughout the game, make sure to constantly discuss, question and share information (true or false), including concerning the cards in your hand (without ever showing them), with other players in order to coordinate or to betray them at the right time.
And don't hesitate to use the Item cards on board the ship tactically to ensure victory. And be careful because time is running out and innocent people risk being pushed overboard...
