The Reading Ace – Confusions is designed to help children aged 5½ to 9 years to read words that are more difficult to decode. The three decks of cards it includes aim for three challenges: distinguishing the letters b, d, p and q, distinguishing the different accents on the e as well as correctly reading soft c and g (eg, cherry and giraffe) and c and g hard (eg, truck and garage).
