In The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, players lead a group of adventurers attempting to complete perilous quests in Middle-earth. From the fields of the Shire to the dangerous paths of the Dark Forest to the kingdoms of Gondor and Rohan, the famous heroes of this universe come together to resist the threat of the Dark Lord, Sauron.

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players acting together against game-controlled scenarios. As an Evolving Card Game, additional cards and quests will be available in regular expansions, allowing players to customize the contents of this box, or create their own decks.
