Play as a spirit of nature
In the far reaches of our world, magic still exists, embodied in the spirits of earth, sky, and nature.
Spirit Island is a cooperative game for 1 to 4 players in which each player embodies a Spirit of nature, defending his island against Invaders who have no license for the well being of this land or its inhabitants, the Dahans.
Course of a game
Each turn, all Spirits play simultaneously, using their Powers to repel Invaders, defend the island, and come to the aid of the Dahans.
But, centuries of tranquility have weakened the Spirits who begin the struggle fragile and limited. They will have to quickly regain their powers in order to contain these Invaders (automatically managed by the game) who are progressing very quickly on the island and leading to numerous camps there, spreading more and more Ruin in their wake.
End of the party
To win, the Spirits, with the help of the Dahans, will have to destroy these Invaders and drive out any survivors.
However, if the island succumbs to Ruin, if one of the Spirits is totally destroyed or if the Invaders have succeeded in building entrenchments, the island will be lost, just like the game.
